Originally a watercolorist, painting primarily in oil since 1993. I most often paint on wood reclaimed from construction sites. Work is essentially figurative; I’m interested in the human face, expressivity with economy of line, a personal, hermetic color theory, the ignorance of natural light and occasional outbursts of automatic symbology.
